One of the biggest flaws with Surrogates (other than the fact it’s fairly boring and countless plot-holes) is that it suffers from thinking it’s a lot smarter and a lot more idealistic than it really is. What could have been an interesting play in humans and their reliance on technology gets held back by some wannabe clever screenwriting and “a nifty twist ending”. This movie deserves the universal “pooping on” it received.
The Westboro Baptist Church held a demonstration in front of the Twitter office in San Francisco on Thursday. Even more people showed up for a counter protest, featuring the best protest signs I’ve ever seen. (via Neatorama)

Two seasons into Sons of Anarchy and I’m just now realizing why “Jax” seemed so familiar. Actor Charlie Hunnam played both Jax Teller (Sons of Anarchy) and Pete Dunham (Green Street Hooligans). If you’re a fan of one and haven’t seen the other, definitely check into it. If you haven’t seen either, I pity you.
